MINDFUL BEAUTY, WELLNESS & SKINCARE WORKSHOP

HOLLISTIC APPROACH TO ANTI-AGING

Tired of puffy eyes, wrinkles, crepey saggy skin & bloated face that makes you look older beyond your years?  Rejuvenate your face with this amazing workshop! Join local esthetician & massage therapist Mina Cantu along with yoga & mindfulness teacher Dawn Deiman on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Technique of Gua Sha & Face Yoga.  This 90 minute workshop will show you how to incorporate these practices into your skin care routine in a mindful manner that will also regulate your nervous system & detox the body from stress hormones that are aging you.  Gain an understanding of your lymphatic system and it's importance in looking younger.

Menopause & Perimenopause Relief

This "online" Gentle Yoga Class is designed to help women rebalance their hormones and manage symptoms of Menopause & Perimenopause. This is a gentle class that incorporates Pranayama (Breathwork) with some soft somatic movements, along with Restorative & Yin style poses to help women with the dreaded hot flashes, menopause belly, insomnia, achy joints and more.

Class will be on Zoom & a link will be provided the day before to registered students.

Cameras do not need to be turned on if that is your comfort level.

WORKSHOPS

SEASHELL MANDALA, MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION

Join us for this 3 hour workshop where you'll be taught how to practice Mindfulness while you make your very own Seashell Mandala to take home.  


Traditionally, a Mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos.  It's about finding peace in the symmetry of the design & the universe.  It is used in many cultures and traditions with the belief that upon entering the Mandala and proceeding towards the center, you are guided through the cosmic process of transforming the universe from one of suffering into one of joy & happiness!


You'll be guided through various grounding and mindful techniques throughout the making of your Mandala.  As your craft dries, you'll enjoy a 30 minute Guided Meditation Class themed on "Reclaiming Self-Worth & Reconnecting to Self".  Ending with instructions on how to use your Mandala for a continued Meditation practice at home and a group photo of our class and all your beautiful Mandalas you've created!


From this workshop you will learn:

     -  What is Mindfulness?

     -  What is a Mandala?

     -  Different types of Mandalas

     -  Techniques on how to incorporate Mindfulness into your day to day busy life

     -  How to practice Meditation with a Mandala
